I am also a WIPO panelist for domain name disputes.
Competition and regulatory matters have concerned

In the field of data protection I have advised on

I have acted in many contractual disputes relating to the supply of computer systems, typically involving

differences as to what requirements were specified |

whether the requirements were met and |

the validity of exclusion and limitation clauses. |
Other issues have included the scope of licences and the duties of website designers (Antiquesportfolio v Fitch). I have also advised in and conducted negotiations for substantial IT contracts.
Defamation and trade descriptions cases have included complaints of dishonest first mover claims and allegations of misconduct on the part of a computer programmer.
